I'm so excited!

There are baby guinea pigs up for adoption at a nearby animal shelter. The website says they're adoptable after the middle of the month. I just e-mailed the shelter for an application and more info.

I didn't even know I was in the market for more pigs but since we've been talking about getting a dog I've been checking out the local shelter listings. I wasn't looking for pigs but they came up in a general search and suddenly I need more guinea pigs!

This is the picture from the Petfinder.com website of the pig and (some of) her piglets (she had 6!?). How could I NOT adopt at least two of them? Look at those giant heads of cuteness! (Click the picture to fully enjoy the big-headedness.)
